4. “Wow, its just so beautiful,” whispered the boy. “Am I dreaming?
What is that great ball of beaming light growing in front of me?” His
eyes were captivated by the gleaming moon.
Gently, the tranquil water rippled against the little, wooden boat.
Quietly, the gigantic, bright moon was shining above them like a
sparkling, golden coin. The blue glow of the midnight sky, behind
the moon, was even brighter than the moon itself. Shining down
from the moon, was a vast, shimmering reflection beaming up at
them from the calm, still, glistening water. The calm, silent moon
was as large as the whole deep, indigo sea, peacefully sleeping next
to them. The boat was floating down the corridor of light like a
feather.
5. “Oh my goodness! I have never seen anything so beautiful in my whole life! Where did it
come from?”
Bedazzled at the eye-opening sight in front of him he could only stare at it in awe. The
bright light coming off it was blinding him but he didn’t look away, he kept on admiring it.
He wanted to leap out of the boat and stand on it but instead he tightened his hold on the
edge of the boat and leaned further forward as if it was pulling him towards the bright
golden coloured moon. His eyes shone as bright as the moon.
“How did it grow that large?” he wondered out loud.
In the middle of the golden semicircle was the silhouette of the small wooden boat that
bobbed on the calm prussian-blue sea. Towering above the tiny vessel, the moon looked
down on them like an eagle eyeing down its prey. The bright light from the golden moon
shone down onto the sea shooting lasers of light, blinding anyone who looked at it with
open eyes.
6. Alone in the ocean the little boat rocked to and throw as the waves
lapped the side like a little dog licking its owner's hand. Their boat
seemed so small an the vastness of the glassy sea almost like a boat
on a glass table. The young boy stared around him all the way right
to the edge of the horizon. That's when he saw it, the moon in all its
glory. The stars seemed to part before it as it rose above the horizon
and into the sky. He gaped and whispered, “Amazing! It's
beautiful…” his voice trailed off as its magical light stretched all the
way to their boat bathing them in silverlight. The light reflected off
the water like a path he was hypnotised.
7. As he looked into the distance his eyes stared with wonder and his
mouth was agape. "Whoa, that is huge! It looks magnificent like a
giant glowing ball!" he exclaimed.
As the creaking boat rocked gently in the deep, crystal clear ocean
there was just the sounds of the small waves caressing the boat. The
huge, gleaming ball of light emerged like magic in the distance
filling the night sky with sparkle and shimmer and making the
water look beautiful.
8. Gazing up, the boy was hypnotised. Over the deep blue ocean in the
midnight sky lied the moon. “ Wow father look at this giant pearl.
It’s so bright and so beautiful.” His eyes were transfixed. “I never
thought I would see this amazing sight,” he muttered. Hanging over
the boat he just still couldn’t take his eyes of this orb of light.
The little wooden boat hovered over the shimmering water as the
majestic sliver orb rose up and lit a corridor of light. Silence filled
the air as the boat gently started to rock. The young boy gazed into
just utter plain ocean. Growing, the pool of light filled more and
more as the midnight sky was controlled by the hypnotising orb.
9. Rising in front of his eyes was a pearl of light. Leaving him awestruck, he
murmured ‘‘Isn’t this glorious.’’ As the moon ascended higher and higher into
the gloomy night sky, illuminating all that stood in its path. ‘‘Look at this Papa,
it is just so beautiful.’’
Glimmering, the crystal ocean lapped against their rocking boat, leaving them
tilting from side to side. As gentle ripples glided along the diamond waters, as
the wooden, creaking boat bobbed up and down. Illuminating the shadowy
nights sky, rose a huge glowing pearl. It ascended from the waters and took its
place above their heads. As beautiful as it was, it left them transfixed, gazing
upon its beauty. Reaching into the darkness above, the stars parted leaving a
corridor for it to rise through. Bathed in the wondrous light, the tiny vessel
was nothing but a silhouette.
10. He turned his head and gasped. He leaned over the edge of the boat, hands
gripping the side tightly, and widened his eyes in amazement. “Wow! What is
that?” he gaped. “How could something be so beautiful?”
Silence emerged and the boat sat on the water as if it were on a glass table. The
tranquil waters rippled around the boat and the dark night sky consumed
them. Suddenly, an orb erupted from the ocean. It seemed to be growing ever
higher. Would it stop? It reflected in the water and made it seem as if we were
floating on a pool of light. It glowed at the edges a bright magical-like blue
and turned the sky another darker shade of blue. The stars still shimmered and
cast specks of light on to the water but made no difference because of the
dome’s magical light. The orbs reflection on the water made the water look
solid and as if you could walk across it and feel the strange dome-shaped pool
of light. The light enfolded them and silhouetted them against this wonder!
