Subjective: A 19-year-old female was brought to the trauma ED following an MVA. The patient
was a restrained passenger when the vehicle in which she was traveling was t-boned at 80 -mph,
trapping her inside the vehicle. I am unable to obtain a current history, as the pationt has 10 C
and is currently intubated for airway protection. Objective: The patient is currently unstable and
sedated. The patient is hypotensive 70/50 mmHg . Ventriculostomy with external ventricular
drain was placed with increased ICP at 20 mmH . The patient has multiple pedal, tibia, fibula,
and pelvic fractures. A lumbar fracture is seen in L1-t4. A FAST exam shows a hepabic
laceration with hernorrhage. CXR demonstrates multiple nib fractures with resulting
hemopoeumothorax and mediastinal shift. A chest tube was placed. Assestment 19-year-old
passenger involved in a high-speed MVA in critical condition, 1. Traumatic brain injury with
elevated ICP 2. Ventriculostorny with EVD 3. Hypotension secondary to hemarthatgic stiock 4.
Pedal fracture 5. Compound tibia-fibuta fracture 6. Pelvic fracture 7. Compression fracture of
L.1-t.4 8. Hepatic laceration 9. Multiple rib fractures with hemopneumothorax 10 Pilmonary
contusion 11. Chest tube thoracostonty Plan: STAT 2 units RBCs. Obtain a full-body CAT scon.
STAT surgery to repair hepatic laceration and control hemorrhage. Consult trauma surgeon for
open reduction. with intemal focation of muitiple skeletal fractures Comsilt neurosurgeon for
craniotomy. Administer Mannitol and monitor ICP. Vasogressors to maintain MAP 90 mmith.
Continue ventilator sypgot. Prognosist Poor Simply type in the term. The term does not need to

Subjective- A 19-year-old female was brought to the trauma ED followin.pdf

  • 1. Subjective: A 19-year-old female was brought to the trauma ED following an MVA. The patient was a restrained passenger when the vehicle in which she was traveling was t-boned at 80 -mph, trapping her inside the vehicle. I am unable to obtain a current history, as the pationt has 10 C and is currently intubated for airway protection. Objective: The patient is currently unstable and sedated. The patient is hypotensive 70/50 mmHg . Ventriculostomy with external ventricular drain was placed with increased ICP at 20 mmH . The patient has multiple pedal, tibia, fibula, and pelvic fractures. A lumbar fracture is seen in L1-t4. A FAST exam shows a hepabic laceration with hernorrhage. CXR demonstrates multiple nib fractures with resulting hemopoeumothorax and mediastinal shift. A chest tube was placed. Assestment 19-year-old passenger involved in a high-speed MVA in critical condition, 1. Traumatic brain injury with elevated ICP 2. Ventriculostorny with EVD 3. Hypotension secondary to hemarthatgic stiock 4. Pedal fracture 5. Compound tibia-fibuta fracture 6. Pelvic fracture 7. Compression fracture of L.1-t.4 8. Hepatic laceration 9. Multiple rib fractures with hemopneumothorax 10 Pilmonary contusion 11. Chest tube thoracostonty Plan: STAT 2 units RBCs. Obtain a full-body CAT scon. STAT surgery to repair hepatic laceration and control hemorrhage. Consult trauma surgeon for open reduction. with intemal focation of muitiple skeletal fractures Comsilt neurosurgeon for craniotomy. Administer Mannitol and monitor ICP. Vasogressors to maintain MAP 90 mmith. Continue ventilator sypgot. Prognosist Poor Simply type in the term. The term does not need to be broken down or divided.
