1.Is the subject suited to my purposed ?
2.Is the subject interisting to me ?
3.Am i qualified to speak on this subject ?
4.Will my audience find this subject interesting ?
5.Will my audience find this subject useful ?
6.Is my subject sufficiently restricted ?
4. Specific purpose
1.General purpose : to entertain.
specific purpose :
a.to amaze the audience with a demontration of
magig.
b. To fascinate the audience with heroic story.
2.Genaral purpose : to inform
specific purpose:
a.To explain the art of taking picture.
b.To show how to make an ice cream
5. 3.General purpose : to persuade
specific purpose :
a.to motivate the audience to care
about world issue.
b.to prove to the audience how lucky
they are.
c.to increase the audience’s care.
6. The central idea
The central idea is the stetement that speakers
use to develope their speech.
Example :
To inform
Specific purpose - to explain the art of taking
picture.
The central idea – taking picture is not as easy as
you think,but ,when you get or know the art
of taking picture,your picture will be more
than a picture.
