a. to inform
speech is to convey information such as speech about religion, business, culture, etc..
b. to persuade
speech is to persuade or invite audience. example of clean living speech and speech
following a race.
c. to entertain
is speech which aims to entertain the audience. eg "stand up comedy".
d. to actuate

4. We have to prepare the conclusion is the most important part of the speech This is our last
chance to achieve our goals, and it signals our audience that our speech will end. We will
plan carefully conclusion. It is the final impression of the audience will get a conclusion we
clearly do not get an audience we feel deprived with the conclusion that we make.
5. Kita harus memilih tujuan dan subject pidato dengan baik, bagaimana tujuan pidato kita
memiliki tiga tujuan:
1. It should capture the listener’s attention
2. It sjould give the audience a reason for listening, and
3. It should indicate the main idea of the speech and, if desirable, preview its main points.
