2. Digital
Images/
Video
as
a
classroom
resource
• I
can
use
videos
in
my
classroom
to
introduce
a
topic
or
unit.
By
showing
a
short
video,
it
will
make
the
students
more
interested
in
the
topic.
If
I
have
a
voice
over
in
the
video,
a
video
of
me,
pictures,
and
colorful
texts,
it
would
be
more
appealing.
Using
a
video
would
be
more
personal
as
well,
instead
of
having
just
a
list
of
bullets
introducing
the
topic.
That
can
be
very
boring.
3. Digital
Images/
Video
as
a
classroom
resource
• In
addition
to
digital
images
and
videos
being
a
good
resource
for
the
beginning
of
the
topic,
it
can
also
be
a
good
resource
for
reviewing
information.
The
video
can
be
interactive
and
ask
questions,
as
well
as
have
familiar
videos
and
pictures
from
the
unit
that
can
spark
the
students’
memory
on
important
information.
4. Digital
Images/
Video
as
a
classroom
resource
• I
can
use
digital
images/
video
in
my
classroom
in
order
to
give
good
assessments
and
feedback
on
certain
assignments.
Giving
online
feedback
can
save
time.
I
can
do
this
at
any
time
of
the
week,
and
students
will
be
able
to
access
their
feedback
from
their
own
homes.
This
will
ultimately
lead
to
more
student
engagement
as
well.
5. How
video
can
be
used
in
a
lesson
• When
learning
the
North
American
animals,
biomes,
and
other
terms,
students
will
create
a
vocabulary
video.
By
having
students
create
their
own
videos,
they
will
be
more
invested
in
wanting
to
study
the
terms.
Students
can
make
the
videos
by
putting
on
skits,
playing
word
games,
etc.
Doing
these
interactive
things
and
recording
them
rather
than
just
studying
from
index
cards
will
have
students
retain
information
in
a
better
and
more
fun
way.
6. How
video
can
make
a
lesson
more
relevant
• Video
can
make
lessons
more
relevant
because
it
can
cause
lessons
to
be
more
interactive.
If
a
teacher
just
lectures
a
class,
students
would
retain
information,
so
overall,
the
lesson
wouldn't’t
be
relevant.
If
the
lesson
is
more
interactive
and
has
students
involved
more,
they
would
retain
the
information
more.
