2. Rationales Visuals- having videos provides
students with visuals of what they
are learning. Many visual learners
will gain more knowledge rather
than reading a text from a book.
Engagement- having a video will
engage students throughout the
lesson and make it a more
memorable experience.
Resource- having a video allows
students to watch at their own
pace.
3. Video Lesson
- I feel that I would use a pre recorded video lesson in days that I am absent. I feel that it will
help students to hear my voice and listen to a lesson that I taught in order to understand.
Many times in the past I have had students tell me how the substitute confused them and how
they didn’t understand the work that was left. Once I reviewed it they would understand the
concept. I also feel that when students have access to pre recorded lessons they can go back
and re watch the video as many times as they want and pause throughout the video to make
sense of the content. It provides them with an extra resource in order to understand the
lesson.
4. Video
relevance?
- Providing a video lesson can provide
more relevance because it will keep the
student engage and provide a visual
aspect to the lesson. Kids now a days
are always watching videos and are
constantly looking at the screen. Why not
make the screen time a content learning
moment. It will keep them interested and
allow them the opportunity to rewatch
when necessary.
