2. Aim
To demonstrate to students that when you
start life with an uneven playing field you tend
to end life with even greater inequality.
(I have done this 5 times now and it has
always made my point perfectly ie the super
rich end up miles better off .The quite rich has
about half of what the super rich has.The poor
and at least 2 of the average end up bankrupt)
3. 8 players
4 players get the normal money which is around
£2000
Draw out of a hat the name of 1 player who will be
super rich
Give them £6000 plus the full set of red properties
with a hotel on 2 and Mayfair and 3 other properties
but no more sets.
Draw out the name of another lucky player who has
a few extras eg all the utilities and stations and a 2 of
the blue properties
Draw out the name of someone who is super poor
they only get about £700
Final name is just a bit less well off around £1000
Play the game for as long as you can .
Add up every single thing everyone has at the end.
