Zarafa Desktop Integration (ZDI) allows users to access Zarafa groupware features from their desktop. It handles mailto links, sends documents from Office and OpenOffice, supports drag and drop files, and provides notifications and offline access. ZDI also enables single sign-on, stores credentials locally, and closes the window on logout. It integrates with the Zarafa WebApp through MAPI and a JSON/HTTPS API.
