Steve Jobs was born in 1955 and adopted. He dropped out of college but attended lectures at HP, where he met Steve Wozniak. They co-founded Apple in 1976. After some success with the Apple II, Jobs was ousted from Apple in 1985 and founded NeXT. When NeXT was struggling, Apple acquired the company in 1996 and Jobs returned as CEO. He helped turn Apple around by launching products like the iMac, iPod, and iTunes store. Jobs also led Pixar to success with animated films before Disney acquired Pixar in 2006. Despite health issues, Jobs remained influential as a leader until his death in 2011.
