Steve Jobs was born in 1955 in Wisconsin and adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. He dropped out of Reed College after one semester but still attended some classes. He co-founded Apple Computers with Steve Wozniak in 1976 and pioneered personal computers and user-friendly technologies like the iPhone and iPad. After being ousted from Apple in 1985, he started NeXT which was later acquired by Apple in 1996, bringing Jobs back to the company he co-founded as CEO. Under his leadership, Apple reinvented itself and saw massive growth and innovation with products like the iPod, iTunes, and Mac computers.
