Steve Jobs was a genius who revolutionized the technology industry through his leadership of Apple and development of pioneering products. As a boy he loved taking things apart and putting them back together. He co-founded Apple in 1976 with Steve Wozniak in his family's garage. Through his vision and insistence on simplicity, Jobs led Apple to create groundbreaking devices like the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad that changed how people interact with technology. However, Jobs' life was cut short by pancreatic cancer in 2011 at the age of 56, after decades of transforming the digital world through his "different thinking."
