Youth Waging Peace
1. Youth Waging Peace is a youth-led guide on the
prevention of violent extremism through education. Its
applicable for all the ladys & Gentleman.
2. It is also an ongoing project to ensure the voices of
young people are heard by teachers, policymakers,
and school administrators & My hope also....!!!

Empathy religion prevention
• Empathy has long been a core belief of
many major religions around the world.
The Abrahamic religions, Hinduism and
Buddhism all emphasize kindness and
compassion.
• It’s also an instinct scientists say humans
can learn to hone.
• Empathy means to understand another
person’s thoughts, feelings or state of
being. Research also shows that other
mammals are capable of emotional
contagion, where an emotion transfers
from individual to individual.

Justice youth school social-
emotional learning
• Social-Emotional Learning is the
development of “soft skills” – those
qualities that improve self-awareness
and emotional maturity.
• Many educators integrate SEL into
the curriculum as a part of their
lesson plans and keep tabs on
individual student progress.

can we prevent violence?
• Encourage and sponsor student-led
anti-violence activities and programs
ranging from peer education, teen
courts, and mediation to mentoring
and training.
• Offer to serve on a team or committee
to develop and implement a Safe
School Plan, including how teachers
and other school staff should respond
in emergencies.
• Settle arguments with words, not fists

behavior change and the best way to
incite behavior change is to let people
engage in direct action with others. I
mean, practice all notions and values
in action. When they act together and
sense how diversity works for them
rather than against, they shift to be
proponents and preachers of such

• Social-emotional learning (SEL) is the
process of developing the self-
awareness, self-control, and
interpersonal skills that are vital for
school, work, and life success. ... All
due to social-emotional learning.
• Recognizing if someone is sad, and
asking if they're ok. Expressing
yourself with your friends in a different
way than with your parents.

Radicalisation Tolerance
• Radicalisation is a process by which an
individual or group comes to adopt increasingly
extreme political, social, or religious ideals and
aspirations that reject or undermine the status
quo or reject and/or undermine contemporary
ideas and expressions of freedom of choice.
• The strategy now contains three objectives:
• 1. to respond to the ideological challenge of
terrorism and the threat from those who promote
it.
• 2. to prevent people from being drawn into
terrorism and ensure that they are given
appropriate advice and support;
• 3. to work with sectors and institutions where
