PRIMARY EDUCATION
Schooling through Pune's renowned school 'Jnana Prabodhini Prashala' (JPP), well recognized for the
fosterers education methods and also for its selection procedure. JPP as a school starts from standard
5th (grade 5) with a batch of only 30 students per year. The admission is purely through a vigorous IQ
test. About 200 Students appear for the entrance test each year and only 30 get through the
multitasking type selection procedure. I am an alumni of Batch 1975 - 1982 of JPP.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
Evolved through a basic mechanical aptitude, completed Diploma in Automobile Engineering, In 1986
conducted by the Maharashtra Technical Board, Maharashtra, INDIA.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1986-1989
Began professional carrier as a Workshop Supervisor, in a medium scale car maintenance workshop
M/s. Wheels Auto Pune (P) Ltd. and worked for 3 years (1986-1989).
1989-1992
Then started M/s. Mugdha Enterprises a proprietary concern dealing with various machinery spare
parts required for Sugar Industries. Dissolved the firm in 1992 due to a job opportunity with a
government concern M/s. Vikrant Tyres, Mysore, Karnataka.
1992-1996
Joined M/s. Vikrant Tyres Ltd. in 1992, as a 'Service Engineer'.
KRA (Key Responsibility Area) - Handling Warranty Claims, Preparing product performance surveys &
reports for field trials, Conducting End-user Training programs on Tyre maintenance, use and abuse.
Later company transformed all Service Engineers to Sales & Service Engineers. the tyre sale in the area
allocated to me increased 8 times (From 1o Tyres per month to 80-90 Tyres a month). I always received
appreciation by my seniors for this extra ordinary performance and especially for my a perfect defect
analysis and settling a warranty claim without leaving the customer unconvinced in case of a claim
rejection.
2. I was also designated as 'Radial Tyre repair and maintenance expert' for which I conducted many
Induction & Tyre repair training programs for Maharashtra State Road Transportation Corporation (a
Govt. Transport Organization) for the use of Radial Tyres.
This was the most challenging leap in the truck tyre industry and 'Vikrant' was the pioneer company to
introduce the All Steel Truck Radial tyres. I thoroughly enjoyed being an active participant in the process
of giving India this state of the art product. I wanted to come back to Pune for some personal reasons
hence worked with Vikrant, Nagpur office, only till year 1996.
1996-2000
Joined M/s. Kam Avida Enviro Engineers (P) Ltd. , Pune, in 1996, as 'Manager - After Sales Service',
KRA - Handling team of about dozen of service engineers across India engaged in maintaining various
Drain Cleaning Equipment, manufactured by the company. With growing needs I was also involved in
marketing of the product in the Government sector and got the company its first bulk order of the
Vacuum Loader (Septic Tank cleaning trucks) from the Pune Municipal Corporation. It was a major
breakthrough for 'KAM'. KAM then converted all the Sales personal to independent dealers and hence
my employment with KAM ended by year end of 2000.
SELF EMPLOYED
2001-2013
The growing requirements for the special purpose equipment for the Liquid Waste disposal & the Sewer
cleaning, induced me to start a partnership firm by the name 'GATRAY Envirotech Systems' in year
2001. The products were the High Pressure Sewer Jetting machines and Suction Loaders with
improvised in designs & quality. Between 2001 to 2013 'GATRAY' sold about 100 machines plying
successfully across the Indian and international market. GATARY was a special Vendor to M/s. Ashok
Leyland Ltd. (A leading truck manufacturer from India) for exporting the equipment mounted on their
trucks chassis. 20 odd machines have been exported through Ashok Leyland, in countries like, Sultanate
Of Oman, Sri Lanka, Nepal etc.
NEW TASK OF SETTING UP A MANUFACTURING DIVISION FOR ARYAN PUMPS
2013-2016
In mid 2012, M/s. Aryan Pumps & Enviro Solution (P) Ltd. a Pune based centrifugal pump
manufacturing company willing to enter the field of Sewer and Drain cleaning equipment & various
vehicle mounted systems, invited me for setting up their new venture of manufacturing the advanced
machines widely known as 'Sewage Water Recyclers'. After joining them as 'Vice President' on 1st Jan
2013, started to work on this revolutionary product line with ultra modern features. It was decided that
GATRAY shall be merged with ARYAN.
KRA- Leading the design team to create designs and manufacturing drawing, Sourcing input
components, Developing vendors and suppliers, Production team selection & setting up manufacturing
and assembly division, performance tests, Trouble shooting, Preparing operators & workshop manuals,
were the main areas I was personally involved. The company turnover from about Rs. 14 Crore (140
Million) in 2013 took a steep leap to Rs. 80 Crore (800 Million) till March 2016, due to the introduction
of the new product line developed by the division under my control. Worked with ARYAN for three
years and resigned on 30th May 2016 on personal grounds.
