Benefits of Mindfulness and Meditation
Mindfulness is a mental state achievedbyfocusingone’s awareness onthe present moment, while calmlyacknowledging and
accepting one’s feelings, thoughts andbodilysensations. Meditators have beenclaiming for thousands of years that a regular
meditationpractice is an effective treatment for anxiety, stress, worry, lack offocus, addictionand relationshipproblems. And
leads to peace of mind, well being, greater focus, mental clarity, andenhancedcreativity.
Science is now supportingmanyof these claims. Accordingto neuroscientists as you continue to meditate your brainphysically
changes, eventhough you’re not aware of those changes. Mindful meditationhelps activate the “rest anddigest” part of the
