Regular meditation practice has a powerful
impact on the mind and body, rewiring the
brain and bringing us all kinds of benefits

 Contentment and well-being
 Resilience and focus
 Better mental and physical health, and
greater empathy and compassion.
HOW DOES MEDITATION HELP BRAIN?
 Meditation improves a wide range of
willpower skills, including attention,
focus, stress management, impulse
control and self-awareness.
 It changes both the function and
structure of the brain to support self-
control.
 For example, regular meditators have
more grey matter in the prefrontal
cortex.

create a sense of calm and inner harmony.
 Meditation is less about faith and more about altering
consciousness, finding awareness, and achieving peace.

the treatment for many conditions.
