Himalayan seven footer orYETI is believed to
Be an ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN which had
existed since ages. People living in NEPAL and
TIBET believe that there is a mysterious creat-
-ure resembling a GIANT APE ,living in the
roof of the world , HIMALAYAS. Scientist consider
it to be a legend and huge creature . Many People
have said that they have seen yeti many a times, but ,
still no solid proof has been found regarding the
existence of such a huge creature , so,
It’s still a MYSTERY.
3. IT WAS THERE , I SAW IT !!!
There have been several reports of the yeti’s
footprint being spotted. In 1925 a greek
photographer ,N.A tombazi,saw the
creature.He was working as a member of a
british goelogical expedition in the
himalayas
during the expedition he saw a creature
,maybe, thousand feet far away . He tried to
chase it but only got it’s footprints which
were one & half feet apart from each other.
4. Captain d’ Auvergue the curator of the
Victoria memorial in Calcutta, even stated
that while he was travelling in the
Himalayas and became snow- blind, aYETI
saved him and nursed him.
In 1983 Himalayan, conservationist Daniel .c.
Taylor Himalayan natural historian Robert .l.
Fleming Jr. led aYETI Expedition into Nepal ‘s
Barun valley yhey also got some footprints.

reported seeing large footprints while scaling Mt.

Western interest in the Yeti peaked dramatically
in the 1950s. While attempting to scale Mt. Everest
in 1951, Eric Shipton took photographs of a
number of large prints in the snow, at about
6,000 m (20,000 ft) above sea level. These photos
have been subject to intense scrutiny and debate.
Some argue they are the best evidence of Yeti's
existence, while others contend the prints are those
of a ordinary creature that have been distorted by
the melting snow.
7. A yeti was reportedly captured in Russia in
December 2003.A hunter reported having seen a bear
like creature, trying to kill one of his sheep, but after
he fired his gun, the creature ran into a forest on 2
legs. Border patrol soldiers then captured a hairy 2-
legged female creature that ate meat and vegetation.
The creature allegedly was more similar to a gorilla
than a bear, but its arms were shorter than the legs
(in contrast to a gorilla). It was about 2 meters (6 feet
7 inches) tall.

about YETI :
The yeti is one of the world’s most famous
cryptid. Its existence has been the subject of
controversy for generations, with explanations
for alleged sightings ranging from an
undiscovered species of ape or bear .
But to this day, crypto zoologists have retained
the belief that Bigfoot exists. Well now, Bryan
Sykes, a professor of genetics at Oxford
University , claims he may have made a break in
the mystery.
12. Professor Bryan Sykes conducted advanced
DNA tests on two hair samples, one was from
Ladakh - in northern India on the west of the
Himalayas. 40 years ago a hunter had shot
down a creature in Ladakh and the remains of
that were taken as the sample for the test. The
other hair sample was found by film makers in
a bamboo forest in Bhutan, further east from
Ladakh.
The samples which were found 1,285
kilometers apart, were compared to every
recorded animal DNA , and a complete match
was found: an ancient polar bear that lived up
to 120,000 years ago.
13. The conclusion from Prof. Sykes was
incredible ,and was also respected and
accepted by other scientist. But this proof was
not a solid base ,as, after one year .i.e. in
2007, a suspicious-looking video of Bigfoot
was presented by a guy who was in a camp
in the foot hills of Everest. It spreaded like a
‘virus’ in Internet.
This video raised questions on Prof . Bryan
Sykes findings & still many scientists are
trying to disclose this mystery.
15. My Conclusion
Whether you refer to it as : YETI, BIGFOOT,
SASQUATCH, OR THE ABOMINABLE
SNOWMAN
Everyone knows exactly who we’re talking about.
