“Oh GOSH! Reflecting on Hackteria's Collaborative Practices in a Global Do-It...
Save tigers
1.
2. Tigers are a great beauty of nature, which can’t be
explained in words . They have some great qualities
and powers, which sometimes even make us bite our
nails, like :
3. A tiger’s legs are so powerful that they can remain
standing even when dead.
They are the largest of all the big cats, weighing up to
300 kg.
4. Tigers have a brain that weighs
over 300 g.
Tigers are adept swimmers.
5. Tigers are solitary creatures.
Tigers can leap distances of over 6m, and jump up to 5m
vertically.
6. If you look a tiger in the eyes he is less likely to kill you.
They’re nicer than lions.
7. There were once nine subspecies of tigers: Now
only 6 remain.
8. You would have read the last point of facts on Tigers.
You wouldn’t believe, but it is true. Many species of
tigers had extinct since the birth of humans. And
now, almost 1000 Tigers are remaining in INDIA. So
sad ………
9. There are many causes why Tigers
are endangered. And the boss of
all that causes is Human. Mainly
in the name of fashion and
economic development, humans
are leading Tigers to the way of
extinction. There are many reasons
made by them like :
10. The main cause is that humans are taking away their
homes –the Forests. Because of deforestation, Tigers
are getting homeless leading to the death.
11. The other cause is that
Tigers are being poached
for valuable things like
fur and other body parts.
Many foolish people even
think this important for
economic development.
12. Out of nine sub-species of Tigers, three are already got into
the world of extinction. And from remaining almost all are
threatened. The tiger is the national animal of India, yet
despite the many measures that have been put in place to
protect this rare and beautiful animal, it is now perilously
close to extinction.
Although the current slogan is “only 1400 tigers left in India”
it has been reported that this figure is actually much lower
and as few as 800-900 tigers are now surviving in the wild.
13. Take an eco tour : Visit the parks which
specialize in featuring tigers for tourists to
view. By doing this, you add revenue to continue
maintaining the sanctuaries and feeding the
tigers.
14. Create awareness : No matter what are you
looking to do, creating an awareness is a first step. And,
this start is even more essential when the focus is to
preserve the tigers. Make an effort to develop attention to
“Save Tigers” by developing images, leaflets, ads,
advertising the cause
on internet websites
and the like.
15. Educating the people : The people who do the
most harm to the forests are those living nearby them. They
need to be educated about the significance of tigers to if
they wish to see the Ecosystem
balanced. If there will be no
tigers then we will not find
any grass on our planet because
all the there will nobody to stop
the grass eating animals from
eating all the grass.
16. Discourage poaching : Hunting of tigers is
banned because selling tiger skin or any other body
parts is the biggest reason why Indian tigers are
going extinct. If you know somebody who is involved
in Indian tiger hunting then it is your duty to report
the officials.
17. Support a cause : If you see a program
running to save the Indian tiger, you should take
part in it and support their cause. You could also
start your own blog on how to save the Indian tiger,
it will really educate the people.
