But, many westerners say that they have seen this creature
while on expeditions in the mountains.
Several sightings, mainly of footprints have
been the westerner explorers.
A group of Chinese hunters reportedly captured him for five
months until he died.
6. Misidentification of Himalayan wildlife has been
proposed as an explanation for some yeti findings.
The Bhutan expedition reported that a DNA
analysis of a hair sample showed that the samples
were from a brown bear.
Some mountaineers have claimed to have a face-to-
face encounter with Yeti.
