The Year 13 students provided tips for completing coursework, including storyboarding ideas, documenting plans, taking photos for blogs, embedding all content, planning filming schedules, sharing work evenly in groups, communicating via group chats, using each other's strengths, keeping ideas and posts simple and consistent, considering filming locations, using the same device and settings for all filming, re-shooting carefully, and planning shots and backgrounds in advance. They also recommended specific apps for creating blogs like Powtoon, Emaze, and Prezi and using social media like Instagram and Twitter.

2. They advised us to…
 Storyboard everything, our ideas, our plans for the opening of our film.
 Document everything, again our ideas, plans, storyboards etc.
 To take loads of photos as more evidence to post on our blogs, for example when filming take a photo of
our location.
 Make sure that we embed everything on our posts.
 We mustn't leave filming to late as we may have to re-shoot some scenes.
 Make sure everyone in the group is contributing to the blog and that the work is shared out evenly
between the people in our group.
 Make a group chat so that we can communicate with each when we are not in lesson.
 Take on board each others strengths, so for instance if someone is good at editing let them help with the
editing of the film.
 Think of simple ideas for your film, don’t make them to complex because otherwise it gets too
complicated.
 Make sure we keep our posts ordered and consistent.
 We must think about locations (where we’re going to film).

3. When filming…
 Ensure that we film on the same phone.
 Film your opening in landscape.
 Again don’t leave filming to late as we may have to re-shoot some things.
 We must be careful when re-shooting and ensure everything is the same, for
example make sure your wearing the same thing as the rest of the film, even
little things like wearing the same earrings etc.
 Make sure we plan ahead about what we are going to film, what shots we will
use etc.
 Be careful with our frame when filming, we must make sure that we don’t
have something in the background that shouldn’t be in the film.
