This document presents XModel, an XML-based morphological analyzer for modern standard Arabic, designed to tackle the complexities of Arabic morphology such as agglutination and morphological ambiguity. The analyzer leverages a new representation language to optimize the handling of a significant lexicon and various morphological rules, aiming to enhance natural language processing applications. It evaluates existing analyzers like Buckwalter and Xerox, highlighting the advantages of the proposed system in terms of flexibility and reduced complexity.
