The second amendment was adopted in 1791 and added to the U.S. Constitution to defend
themselves from the enemies; Indian, Spanish and especially British who had tried to overturn the

In the article The Intrinsic Quality of Experience , Gilbert Harman approaches three objections to
functionalism. The strongest argument is the argument on qualia. If functionalism is true, we can
use the extrinsic property, the relationships with other things, to create a full description of our
mental states based on their functional relations. Through introspection, we are aware of the
intrinsic property of the experience. If we are aware of the intrinsic property, then the description of
our mental states based only on the functional relationships or extrinsic property is incomplete.
Therefore, functionalism is false. In response, Harman focuses on the second premise of the
objection that we are aware of the intrinsic property of our experience.

differently based on the gender of the perpetrator or person committing the crime. Hegemonic
masculinity can best be described as the dominant, privileged, and often invisible category of men
at any point in history. In genderstudies, hegemonic masculinity refers to the belief in the existence
of a culturally normative ideal of malebehavior. Hegemonic masculinity posits that society strongly
encourages men to embody this kind of masculinity. Hegemonic masculinity is said to be marked
by a tendency for the male to dominate other males and subordinate females. A case can be made
for domestic violencecases in sports. Domestic violence can be used as a way for a male to show
his dominance over females and show other males not to mess with them. Men may come off as
more masculine if they beat on another girl. For females in sports it has been said that a more
masculine side is being brought out through competition. Even though I believe that domestic
violence is portrayed differently compared to male cases, females show their masculinity in
different ways. Hegemonic masculinity can be shown in females and when they use their anger in
a violent way it is a way to show that they can dominate other male or females and make them
seem more superior compared to other around them. In my paper I will be looking at how media

Fresh water invertebrates rely on many things to help them survive in the river and other bodies
of water. The water quality must be the right pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen levels and
conductivity levels in the water for the invertebrates to survive. Fresh water invertebrates are
important for the ecosystem as they feed on mosses on the rocks and provide food for predators
to keep the ecosystem together. Water quality is important because if it is poor then the animals,
not only livestock but domestic pets, will be affected by it because they would drink from the
