The document proposes Thing Broker, a platform for modeling and connecting physical and virtual "things" on the Web of Things. It builds on previous work by introducing flexible "thing" and "event" abstractions and a Twitter-like model for defining relationships between things using "follow" and "unfollow." The platform supports push-based and pull-based communication between things and has been used to develop early prototype applications like a collaborative photo gallery and meeting notification system. Future work aims to improve authentication, support continuous data flows, and add discovery and querying of things.
