This document summarizes the volunteering work and activities of two consultants, Dominika and Katarzyna, during their time in Ferrol, Spain in August 2019. Their work involved assisting with the Meninias Festival, cleaning a local beach, organizing language and cultural exchange events, exploring the local area, and traveling elsewhere in Spain. They helped promote art among local youth, recorded projects, and gained confidence in their abilities by independently planning and carrying out their work.

IN THE WORK OF
MENINIAS FESTIVAL
As the project assistants and people in charge of
media communitacion our task was to record the
process of another short-term project.
Meninias Festival is about to make the Ferrol’s
street more colourful and pleasant to watch.
Two weeks before that, our coordinator Malle
helped developing artistic mind of the volunteers.
The volunteering youth that were interested in art
took part in ouotdoor sketching.
Having taken some pictures, we decided to join
them in some sketching 

Spending only two hours picking up the
ocean trashes make us realise what a huge
problem plastics are.
After this experience I decided to stop buying
bottled water, ruduce the amount both of my
cosmetics and detergents.

The aim of cultural nights was to gather with Ferrol inhabitants, share
with interesting facts about particular country and simply have fun
toghether.
