World Heritage refers to places designated by UNESCO as having cultural or natural significance and universal value. The World Heritage program aims to catalog, preserve, and promote these sites. It originated from the 1972 UNESCO World Heritage Convention. The World Heritage Committee is responsible for implementing the convention by deciding which sites are inscribed on the World Heritage List and providing financial assistance. There are currently 981 sites on the list, representing both cultural and natural heritage across 160 countries.




World Heritage of mankind is a title that
UNESCO gives to some specific beautiful
places on the planet.
They are nominated to be on the list made by
the World Heritage program.
The objective of that is catalog, preserve
and make known places of cultural or natural
importance in the world




Those places have got an universal value.
