This document analyzes the challenges faced by rural and urban women entrepreneurs in Kerala, India. It conducted a survey of 200 entrepreneurs and found that both groups struggle with lack of capital, negative attitudes from society and banks, and dual responsibilities at home and work. However, rural women face more difficulties in accessing financial support, marketing their products, and lack infrastructure like electricity and roads. The study recommends improving access to education, training, financing, group-based support systems, and minimizing official procedures to better empower women entrepreneurs in India.
