2. WHY DOES IT RESONATE
FOR YOU?
I have always held women empowerment very close
to my heart. Surrounded by strong and powerful
women my entire life, I truly believe that women
should always be treated equally to men in every
aspect of society.
Each women and man in my family has always
instilled in me that I can do anything I set my mind
to. I continually strive to prove to each person I
encounter that I am strong and completely capable.
I want young women to grow up to know that they
can accomplish anything in this world. I have two
older brothers and my dad never left me on the
sidelines when he was teaching my brothers a life
lesson. For example, when he taught my brothers
how to change a tire, I was included in that as well.
He never left me out, and always wanted me to learn
all that I could.

3. HOW CAN YOUR INTEREST
BE APPLIED LOCALLY?
I strive to apply this interest in every part of my life,
but especially in my job which is a dance teacher.
Many of my students are young women and not only
do I want to be a positive influence in their lives, but
I also want them to see me as an example of a strong
female.
Another aspect that makes up my role as a strong
female example is to show my students that I
support them in their choices and encourage them
to be their unique selves.

4. WHERE CAN YOU MAKE THE
GREATEST CONTRIBUTION?
I believe I can make the greatest contribution
in my role as an auntto my niece, anddance
teacher. Givingyoungwomen examples in their
life thatthey can lookup to andlearn from in
such a great contributionto women
empowerment.

accepting excuses rightaway, can showyoung
individualsthatthey can do more than they
thinkthey are capableof.

SOCIAL MEDIA THAT CAN
BE UNIQUELY APPLIED
TO THIS GOAL?
One of the features of social media thatcan be
uniquelyappliedto this goal,is Instagram.
There are many videoson Instagramthattruly
inspirewomen to try new thingsand notlimit
themselves.
For instance, there are fitness videosthatshow
women directly competingwith men and
excelling. Visualrepresentation holds such a
big influenceon women, because they are able
to see thatthey can do all things.
