This report aims at identifyingwhether there is differences between work competency of male and female workers of “Mongla Cement Factory’’, Bangerhat. This study is based on a primary survey data of total 193 factory workers in where there are 11 workers are female. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the “Elephant Brand Cement Factory, Mongla”, sampling and survey procedure, describe of methodology and inferential statistics were used to identify the age and sex distribution of the factory workers, conditions of working time and overtime, discrimination among female and male workers on the basis of social status, payments of working hour and overtime works. The study suggests the number of female workers yet more less than male workers in cement factory, but there is no significant differences among the workers basis on socio-economic status, working hour and over-time work time and getting payments.
