Saint Leo University is a Catholic university founded in 1889 in Florida. It aims to provide accessible education emphasizing balanced growth. Due to lack of communication, the university lost employees and morale decreased. To address this, employees completed surveys and an external company evaluated changes. The university implemented suggestions to improve communication and change management, which helped sustain changes and overcome resistance from employees afraid of failure or losing authority. While initial changes were ineffective, improved communication created a more effective process.
