A wireless sensor system using IoT aims to detect early signs of flooding through sensors that monitor conductivity, temperature, pH, turbidity, dissolved ions, oxygen, and sound. The system seeks to avoid economic losses and deaths from floods by allowing cities to forecast flooding and monitor at-risk areas. Sensors communicate wirelessly via a mesh network and are powered by solar energy, providing an improved method over satellites or manual readings to predict floods.

• For Detecting early flood signs ,Forecasting floods ,and
to monitor flooding areas and weather conditions.
• To identify the level of economic losses before flooding.

4. The challenge of predicting floods has been addressed with
manual reads or satellites, but these methods are not always
possible nor even the best choice.

MERITS:
• The power supply for the board is given through solar
energy which is available in plenty.
• It monitors weather forecasting so the cites in costal
areas protected from floods.
• Installing these sensors in a very big city takes some
time.
