William Blake was an English poet, painter and printmaker active in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Though largely unrecognized during his lifetime, he is now considered an important figure of the Romantic Age. Some of his most famous poems include "Loves Secret", "The Sick Rose", and he is known for quotes such as "To see a World in a Grain of Sand".
