Physical education in schools has several benefits for children. It encourages an active lifestyle to combat rising child obesity by getting kids to participate in sports and be physically active and outdoors rather than watching TV or playing computer games. Physical activity also helps children develop movement skills and creativity while having fun. It teaches important life lessons like self-esteem, responsibility, and healthy choices regarding diet, exercise, and avoiding risky behaviors like smoking or bullying.

 The side effects of smoking, drug use and alcohol consumption is
also highlighted and identified
 Different forms of peer pressure and bullying is discussed. This
provides a safe environment for students. Resulting in prevention
measures.
