During this presentation, Iker will explain a concept that he has been developing: Why it’s important to have a technical approach and mindset as a Sourcer or Recruitment professional.
OSINT - Open Source Intelligence "Leading Intelligence and Investigation Tech...Falgun Rathod
As per Wiki - Open-source intelligence (OSINT) is intelligence collected from publicly available sources. In the intelligence community (IC), the term "open" refers to overt, publicly available sources (as opposed to covert or clandestine sources); it is not related to open-source software or public intelligence.
There are lots of other ways to collect information from Public Source which may not provided in this document, This is just an Introductory Document for whose who are beginners and students.

Delivered for the 2019 AI+Blockchain for Social Impact training in Cape Town as an introduction to the internet of things for people with no prior knowledge of the subject.
This Presentation is brief Introduction to Data Analytics and carrier in it. It is with respect to the webinar which took place on 6 th March - Link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltPi1680d1s
IoT is the buzzword today. Wherever you go, people talk about it and there is more hype than reality. In this situation as fresh engineers it is important for you to understand IoT by taking an "inside-out" approach. It means to build understanding about various building blocks of IoT (Sensor | Device | Cloud | App) and technologies associated with it. This talk also focus on these key aspects and also derive key skills that engineers require to build a career in IoT. It will even map with our current ECEP course and make a connect with IoT.

Artificial Intelligence in testing - A STeP-IN Evening Talk Session Speech by...Kalilur Rahman
AI is the new ELECTRICITY - said Andrew Ng. There are two sides of the coin. There are a lot of nay-sayers for AI. At the end of the day, it will be Augmented Intelligence, Adaptive Intelligence, Automated Intelligence that will propel human intelligence forward - more than anything else. It will be a great time ahead. Whether it would be an "Eye(AI) Wash" as skeptics say or an "I wish" from them for starting late on the journey, only time will tell. It is a matter of when and how long, instead of an If. #ArtificialIntelligence #IntelligentTesting #QCoE #NextGenTesting #QualityFocusedDelivery #DigitalInnovation #ITIndustry #NewAgeIT #InnovativeTesting#AIFication #Automation #DigitalEconomy #Singularity #Transcendence #Futurism
Algorithm Marketplace and the new "Algorithm Economy"Diego Oppenheimer
Talk by Diego Oppenheimer CEO of Algorithmia.com at Data Day Texas 2016.
Peter Sondergaard VP of Research for Gartner recently said the next digital gold rush is "How we do something with data not just what you do with it". During this talk we will cover a brief history of the different algorithmic advances in computer vision, natural language processing, machine learning and general AI and how they are being applied to Big Data today. From there we will talk about how algorithms are playing a crucial part in the next Big Data revolution, new opportunities that are opening up for startups and large companies alike as well as a first look into the role Algorithm Marketplaces will play in this space.
We’re talking about AI and its impact on the patent system.
This month's episode evaluates where we presently are and considers where it could all be heading. Dr. David Jackrel, President of Jackrel consulting and Dr. Ashley Sloat, President and Director of Patent Strategy at Aurora, lead a two-part discussion with our all-star panel that begins with a deep dive on the present state of AI patent tools for searching, proofreading, drafting, and prosecution – and then moves on to an exploration of how these tools could eventually provide solutions for many problems plaguing the industry including PTAB invalidation rates, hindsight bias, prior art search quality, and the unsustainable bar. Discussion highlights include:
⦿ ChatGPT 4.0 vs. professionals on core competencies
⦿ Why AI is evolving so rapidly
⦿ AI problems and hallucinations
⦿ AI and public disclosure risk
⦿ AI implications for inventorship
⦿ Current state of AI-assisted patent searching, proofreading, drafting (rule and LLM-based), and prosecution tools
⦿ AI's potential future role in the patent system for fixing issues with the PTAB, search quality, and the unsustainable bar

Mental Health and Wellbeing for Sourcers - SourceCon Digital 2020Iker Jusue
Mental Health and Well-Being in the workplace is a vital topic for any profession. For those that are highly stressful, even more so.
Sourcing can be highly rewarding. However, the nature of our daily activities in a Sourcer's work routine (frenetic pace, uncertainty, lack of control, constant changes) make us candidates to suffer high levels of anxiety from time to time.
What are the best strategies to cope with this?
What techniques work? What tools can help us to stay productive and stay sane at the same time?
In this presentation, some contexts and practical examples will be discussed.
How can Sourcers still be relevant to their company when talent pipelines are running dry?
In the current context, Sourcers effort might make shift from converting top of the funnel prospects to candidates that will be interviewed by hiring teams.
In this session Iker will lay down ideas that will contribute to sourcers continuing to add strategic value. In addition Iker will look at behaviours sourcers can cultivate which can be be put to use when the economy comes roaring back.

Why you need to become a Tech Sourcer (even if you don't hire for IT roles).
1. Why you need to become a
Tech Sourcer (Even if you don’t source IT roles)
Presented by Iker Jusue – June 2018
2. Introduction
Hypothesis: Every Sourcer needs to become, at least a
bit, more Technical.
This means:
Tech Savvy.
Aware of New Tech Trends.
Not a Tech Expert / Developer.
Why?
Performance of information systems.
Vendor management and implementation.
