Where is IoT today? (end of 2015)
• IoT is still in its infancy
• Big organizations and corporations entered the „war over
standards” period
• Both hardware and software are evolving fast
• IoT market penetration is growing but it is still just the beginning
• There are many advanced solutions, products and appliances
but we are far from end-to-end, meaningful integration
• Many business cases are yet to be discovered

Making sense of data and finding non obvious connections:
Challenge:
• There are many senior citizens needing
• At the same time there is limited number of healthcare workers
• How to provide the highest possible service quality? How to prioritize the needs? How to
be proactive?

• Sensors, real time integration, big data, predictive analytics, medical knowledge…

Next big thing for manufacturers:
Challenge:
• After a physical object leaves the factory producer is loosing the connection with it
• How to monitor full lifecycle of the product? How to get the feedback? How to improve the
product?
