Why Workout in the Morning?
1. You’ve accomplished and the rest of the day is free.
2. You started the day on such a good foot you may actually feel like eating more
healthily afterwards.
3. Our bodies are technically set up to peak perform in mid-afternoon. However,
things like work tend to get in the way of working out at that time. Making
exercise a regular part of your morning routine means you’re less likely to skip
it for other obligations. Studies suggest that once the body gets used to moving
first thing in the morning, it may actually adjust well enough to surpass the
mid-afternoon peak performance level.
4. We’ll feel less stressed when we get to work. Science suggests exercising
regularly helps us feel more empowered and feel better about our respective
work-life balance.
5. Drinking coffee, as many of us tend to do in the morning, before a workout can
help boost speed, endurance and workout quality. It can also help burn more
calories when our workout is completed. Obviously moderation is important
here.
6. According to studies, eating breakfast inspires us to make better choices all
day.
7. A recent study has suggested our bodies can burn up to 20% more body fat by
exercising in the morning before the first meal. It is important to refuel with a
meal before sitting down at our desks, jump starting our metabolisms and
keeping our appetite under control, helping reduce our chances of overeating
later on.
8. A morning workout boosts our endorphin levels, improving our morning
mood in the process.
9. There is a good chance we’ll have more energy during our workout. With
enough sleep we’ll have more energy to put into a workout at the beginning of
the day.
10.Morning workouts can help to burn more calories throughout the day than an
evening workout with the same level of intensity.
