WHAT?!
    Picasso
WASN’T an artist?!
welcome to the moodlab
Today I’d like to talk to you about:

       change
and what art has got to do with that…

      …change
 (yep.. made by Picasso)

     but before we can look
            at change
           let’s assess
      where we’re at now

how do we ‘do’ life?
Let’s have a look at
the perfect metaphor for modern life:
Times Square
          in
       New York

from the photo series: “Times Squared”
every day
we are bombarded with images of
‘how life could be’

    a.k.a. you’re not ‘there’… yet?
consumismerism…
 buying more & more
        STUFF

more stuff : more stress
the work cycle:

       work harder
           

       earn more
           
       spend more

for… more stuff?
         more happiness?
we’re richer than ever before

we’ve got it all…
HAPPY?

we are living in world of abundace, with an attitude of lack…
EXPONENTIAL GROWTH

  technology

         world population

It’s all on a scale unpresedented in human history
consequences:
All that can be automated or outsourced… will be automated & outsourced

                           ROUTINE is deadly
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOUR LIFE?
forget about going on as is…

  for one: it’s unsustainable…
                                 blogs.telegraph.co.uk
you will need different skills for your future

so you will have to:

                                                      change
                              re-invent

                                                 YOU
                                          re-assess
push the reset button

marthafry.org
how to do that?
by making a shift from the left to the right brain
ehm?
Left = replacable                                            Right =
Offshoring what makes you
Outsourcing unique and ‘you’
Automation www.icanhasinternets.com
                                                     : irreplacable!

WE NEED TO
 CHANGE
    &
GET OUT OF
OUR MINDS
Sir Ken Robinson : writer of “Out of our Minds”

                            CREATIVITY! INNOVATION! IMAGINATION

                                                   WHY?
                                            Flexibility of mind;
                                         easier to adapt to change

                                      Economically / culturally / personally

change
  =
 fear
Let me show an example of….

 what happens
to lots of people
we focus on thinking, facts, rationality; the left brain side of things…
All this thinking,
     being ruled by fear
   pulls us out of ourselves

         we become

    phantoms
          empty shells
lost the steer of our own lives

   inner world ≠ outer world
but:
     It’s ‘5 to 12’

meaning:
if you want to cange,
now would be
a good the time
to do it!
make the transit
how to get back in touch with what you really want?
get creative

engage with your senses imagination intuition creativity
re-assess
     who you are
what do you want in life.

get back in touch with you

so to get back to Picasso…
…was he NOT an artist?

       http://www.pablopicasso.org/
of course he was…

       yet he is also
   a conduit for change
         because….
