   Developmental: demonstrate the advancement and
    development of owner’s skills over time.
   Reflective: personal reflection on the content and
    what it means for the owner's development.
   Representational: demonstrate exemplary work and
    owner’s skills. Can be shown to potential
    employers.
   They serve as a supplement to transcripts and can
    be used as part of the learning process.
   They allow students to show their accomplishments
    to others in an easy, concise yet deep manner.
   They force students to reflect
   They allow students to show off creativity
   Counseling and advising of students
   They will allow me to reflect on what I have done
    and profile what I have done in a concise manner
   They will help me keep track of what I have done
    (honors experiences, study abroad, etc.)
   They will allow me to graduate with honors
   Beyond college, they will allow me to show off my
    experiences and accomplishments to potential
    employers, thus helping me secure a job.
   E-portfolios are expensive
   You must have internet access in order to use them
   Some people may prefer a paper portfolio
   They are an interactive “resume” online
   She thinks they are useful but somewhat difficult to
    set up
   They are not worth $100
   She thinks they are a unique way to profile
