This document discusses Jesus establishing a new kingdom through nonviolent sacrifice rather than military action. It notes that God's plans for salvation are often different than what humans imagine. New Kingdom
that He was asking
them to live for.

6. Jesus chose not to use a military
action to redeem and free the
Jews and the rest of humanity.
Instead He chose nonviolent
civil disobedience and self-
sacrifice as the means of
salvation for all of us.

7. Two Learnings
1. Gods plan for redeeming the human
race is often very different than
what we would imagine. It is often
not how we would choose to do it.
2. As God’s people we always have a
choice to go with God’s plan or our
own.
