This presentation discusses where laws come from and the different levels of lawmakers. It explains that there are 3 levels - federal, state, and local. At the federal level, laws are made by Congress which consists of the Senate and House of Representatives in Washington D.C. At the state level, laws are made by the state senate and assembly. At the local level, laws are made by county boards of supervisors and city councils.
