2. Title
This is used to inform the reader about what the article is
about, it normally summarises what the article is about in a
short sentence or a few words.

3. Columns
There is normally a three column layout that is used in a
double page article, this allows the text to read by the
reader easily as well as keeping the article neat.

4. Drop Capital
A drop cap is used at the start of the first paragraph in the
double page spread to show the start of the article.

5. Date and Time
All TV listings articles have a time and date and this is
important as it shows to the reader of the article what time
the show that they are reading the information on will be
aired on TV.

6. Byline
Bylines are used in double page articles, where a image
has been used the photographer’s name will be placed on
the image to show to the reader who has taken it, however
this is not always the case for all double page articles.

7. Main Image
The main image in the article establishes to the reader
what the article is about or who it is about and also works
as a way of grabbing the readers attention.

8. Pull Quote
Within a double page article a pull quote is often used to
emphasise a main line that has importance behind it. As
well as that it is also meant to grab the readers attention
and make them interested.

9. Page Number
This is always found of the bottom of the double page
article and allows the user to navigate around the
magazine easier.
