This document provides an introduction to what computers are and how they have developed. It explains that computers take in information, store it, process it, and give processed information back out. Computers are fast, accurate, can store huge amounts of information, and don't get tired like humans. However, computers don't have brains or common sense, so there are still everyday tasks that humans can do better than computers. The document contains activities where students discuss tasks computers can't do and have a conversation with a chatbot to experience limitations. It aims to help students understand what computers are and their benefits and limitations.
