2. The technologies which I have
used.
 I have used a range of technologies such
as;
 Blogger
 iMovie
 Mini DV digital camcorders
 Youtube
 Still digital cameras
 Mobile phone (camera)
 Google
 Wikipedia
 Survey Monkey
 Slideshare
 Apple Mac PCs

3. Blogger
 We have used blogger to keep up to date on what
we are doing regarding our thriller. We have
uploaded all our research and planning on to our
blog and also uploaded our thriller openings to our
blog. This has been very useful as it helps us keep
up to date with what we are doing and we can
upload all our progress onto the blog.

4. Final Cut Express
 We used Final Cut Express to edit our
thriller once we had filmed it which was a
high standard editing software. This was
very tricky at first but after a while it became
very helpful when editing our films. We
were able to put music and effects onto the
thriller to make it look as good as it possibly
could be.

5. Mini DV digital camcorders
 To film our thriller and preliminary task and
research we used Mini DV digital
camcorders. These were very easy to use
and produced a high quality picture for our
filming. From using the camcorders I have
learnt how to use a camcorder and film high
quality videos.

6. Youtube
 Youtube was very helpful to us whilst
doing our thriller. Once we finished our
thriller we used Youtube to upload our
film onto the internet. Also when doing
our research Youtube was very helpful
in finding certain trailers to films for us
to analysis for research into thrillers.

7. Still digital cameras
 We used still digital cameras to take
pictures of the locations of were we
was filming our thriller and to take
pictures of props which we used
throughout the filming of our thriller
which we then uploaded onto our blog.

8. Google
 We used Google to help us in our
thriller as we used it to search for
information surrounding the topic of
the genre of thrillers for research and
planning.

9. Survey Monkey
 We used survey monkey to make
questionnaires for people to fill out so we
could use it for audience research when we
come to make our thriller. This was very
useful as it helped us find out what the
audience wanted in a thriller so we could
make our thriller to the highest quality.

10. Slideshare
 We used Slideshare to upload any
powerpoints which we made onto the
internet and eventually onto our blogs. This
was very useful as it made the us upload
our research and information onto our
blogs.

11. Prezi
 We have used Prezi to design
presentations which we can then upload
onto our blog. This was a very useful
application as it uses a lot of animations
which make the presentation look well
presented. This was very useful whilst
doing our evaluations.

12. What have I learnt and what
skills have I gained?
 From using all these skills I have
learnt many new skills such as using a
camcorder and other new
technologies such as Final cut
express. I have also learnt new skills
such as editing a film to a high
standard for our thriller.
