2. When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't
bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my
grandfather does it for her all the time, even
when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.
當我奶奶因為關節炎而不再能彎腰塗腳指甲
油時，爺爺每次都幫她塗，雖然他的手也患
有關節炎呢。那就是愛。

3. Love is that first feeling you feel before all the bad
stuff gets in the way.
愛是在會有任何壞想法之前的第一個感覺。

4. When someone loves you, the way they say your
name is different. You know that your name is
safe in their mouth.

愛就像是一位老婆婆和一位老公公，雖然他們
彼此非常熟悉，但仍舊是朋友。

13. Love is when your puppy is so glad to see you
even though you left him alone all day.
愛是即使你把你的小狗獨自留在家裡一整
天，但當牠見到你時還是非常高興。

14. You really shouldn't say I love you unless you
mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a
lot. People forget.
除非你是真心的，否則你實在不應該說『我
愛你』。但如果你是真心的，就應該經常說
它，不然他們會忘記。
