2. Men VS Women who watch Thriller Films in the Cinema
As seen above, 58% of Women pay to watch Thriller films in the cinema
whereas, only 42% of men pay to watch Thriller Films. This is surprising as I
was expecting Men to have a much higher percentage than women as Men
generally like to take their other half on a date to act up and be the “Hero” to
make their other half feel safe and so they can be close together at times
where they are scared. Also, women tend to go out in larger groups and
because of this, their numbers are greater.

3. Age groups which watch Thriller films
As the chart shows, the age groups 18-24 year olds tend to watch
more Thriller movies than any other age group. I think this is
because an 18 has a lot more disposable income than a 40 year old
as they don’t have to pay for bills such as Mortgage. Also, the 18-24
year old group is larger than the 14-17 group as thriller films are
usually rated as an 18, so obviously, a 14 year old cannot get into
the cinema. In the General population section, 50+ year old watch
more Thriller films as they have more time on their hands as they
would usually work part time or retired.
