This document outlines the 1st year workplan for WG2 of the COST Action on People Friendly Cities. It discusses the objectives to compile knowledge on smart and liveable cities, identify gaps, and support collaborative urbanism. It proposes using an open knowledge platform with state-of-the-art reviews, repositories, social networks, and meetings. The workplan identifies project leads, objectives, tools, next actions, and evaluation processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-disciplinary exchange through open source platforms and a comprehensive website.
