Miss Kirsty Pinder is a child psychologist who grew up in Otago, New Zealand. She has taught in New Zealand and London since 2008. She currently teaches at Marist School.  Grew up in Otago
 Studied Psychology at Otago University
 Completed my PhD in Child Psychology 2006
 Started teaching in 2008 at Meadowbank School.
 Spent 18 months teaching in London.

 35- 40 minutes Monday- Thursday
 Reading every night-
 Independently
 Aloud to someone else
 Be read to
 Book/ newspaper/ magazine/ recipe book
 Spelling- between 12- 16 words a week
 Basic Facts/ Timestables
 Homework sheet in homework books

 Homework given out on Monday
 Parents sign homework on Thursday
 Basic Facts/ Spelling testing on Friday
 Teacher to check and sign on a Friday
 If not at school on Monday- spelling words on Blog.

 Class blog will be used to display any work we have
done that may be of interest.
 Will be able to see weekly spelling words.
