Children helped distribute knitted toys and balls donated from a charity in the UK. The resort also donated books, stationery, and footballs to a local school.

All employees must take reasonable care for their own health and safety as well as patrons. This includes working in a safe environment, following policies and procedures, and ensuring customer safety. In the event of an emergency, specific evacuation procedures must be followed, such as remaining calm, contacting emergency services, directing staff and customers to safe exits, and gathering at designated meeting points to be accounted for. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring all staff and customers reach meeting points and notifying emergency services of any missing persons. Proper following of evacuation procedures is important so that lives are not put at risk searching unnecessarily.
Food production System
This document outlines standard operating procedures for food production systems including receiving, storing, thawing, preparing, cooking, hot and cold holding, cooling, reheating, displaying, and delivering food. It emphasizes the importance of temperature control and hygiene to prevent food contamination and the growth of microorganisms. Key steps include checking food temperatures, packaging, rotation and cleanliness during receiving, storage, preparation, cooking, holding, cooling and reheating. Personal hygiene and avoidance of cross-contamination are also consistently stressed.
Cooling
Cooling food too slowly can allow bacteria to multiply and cause food poisoning. Food should not be put directly into refrigeration after cooking, as it can raise the temperature inside. For safety, cooked food must cool from 60°C to 21°C within 2 hours, and then to 5°C within the next 4 hours, before refrigerating. Large portions should also be divided and cooled in smaller batches.
Thawing
Thaw frozen foods safely in the refrigerator or cool room which takes 1-2 days to completely thaw. When thawing below ready-to-eat foods, place juices from thawing food below to prevent cross contamination. Use microwaved food immediately after thawing and never re-freeze food that has been thawed.
Deep Frying
Deep frying involves total immersion of food in hot oil between 145°C and 195°C, which quickly cooks foods suited for this method. The oil is ready when a light haze rises from the surface, and it is important to allow the oil to cool to the correct temperature if too hot, as well as maintain sufficient but not overflowing oil levels in the pan.
Blanching
Blanching is a cooking method where food is briefly immersed in boiling water to stop degradation of structure or flavor, allowing vegetables to retain their bright color while also loosening skins for easy peeling. Blanching can occur in oil as well, such as for chips and battered fish before final cooking.
Boiling
Boiling is a method of cookery where food is fully submerged in liquid at its boiling point of 100°C, creating bubbles as the temperature rises to a rolling boil. Foods like pasta, rice, vegetables and meats are boiled to allow for rapid movement of the cooking liquid to fully cook the food, which must remain completely covered in liquid throughout the process as the level may need topping up and scum should be skimmed off.
