This document provides instructions on proper vegetable gardening and watering techniques. It discusses the water needs of plants and how to care for them through systematic irrigation. Specific guidelines are given, such as watering in the morning or evening, avoiding overwatering of newly transplanted plants, and watering around the base of plants to keep the soil moist. Examples of watering tools like watering cans and hoses are mentioned. The importance of regular watering for plant growth is emphasized. Students are tasked to research other irrigation methods used for large vegetable gardens.

English 6 dlp 5 words with affixes - prefixes optEDITHA HONRADEZ
The document discusses prefixes and how they can be used to form new words. It provides examples of common prefixes like "un-", "in-", "dis-", "im-", and "ir-" which are often used to mean "opposite of" or "not". Learners are given exercises to practice identifying prefixes in words and using prefixes to complete sentences. The purpose is to help expand one's vocabulary through understanding and using prefixes.
The document provides objectives, topics, and activities for a lesson on inferring the meaning of unfamiliar compound words based on context clues, synonyms, and antonyms. The lesson defines compound words and different types of compounds. It includes examples of context clues, synonyms, and antonyms to determine word meanings. Students will complete group and individual activities that involve identifying compound words, their meanings from context, and related synonyms and antonyms. The lesson concludes with an assessment of comprehending compound word meanings from sentences.
This document appears to be a summative test in Technology and Livelihood Education for 6th grade students at Juan Luna Elementary School. The test contains multiple choice and true/false questions about plant propagation techniques, including different propagation methods like cuttings, layering, division, grafting and budding; factors that influence seed germination; and different planting layout systems. It tests the students' knowledge of the various methods for propagating plants as well as the essential considerations and steps involved in plant propagation.
Addition and Subtraction of Similar and Dissimilar Fraction.pptxAlbertRamosGoco
The document provides instructions for adding and subtracting fractions with similar and dissimilar denominators. It explains the steps for each process and provides multiple examples. For similar fractions, it describes adding the numerators and copying the denominator before reducing the answer. For dissimilar fractions, it outlines multiplying the denominators, cross multiplying the numerators and denominators, adding or subtracting the products, and reducing the final answer. Several word problems demonstrate applying the steps to real-world scenarios involving fractions.
This document discusses processes that shape Earth's surface, focusing on weathering and soil erosion. It notes that soil erosion can be increased by human activities like illegal logging, overgrazing, and quarrying. The effects of soil erosion include negative impacts on landforms, plants, animals, and humans. Landforms may be degraded and plants unable to grow without sufficient nutrients and water retention in topsoil. Animals and humans face issues like reduced food sources and supply of potable water, which can impact health.
The document provides learning targets and examples for applying the order of operations, known as GEMDAS (Grouping, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction), to solve equations with multiple mathematical operations. It gives the steps to solve equations by first performing operations inside grouping symbols, then exponents, then multiplication/division from left to right, and finally addition/subtraction from left to right. Sample problems are worked through as examples.

2. Pagkatapos ng araling ito,
inaasahang malalaman mo ang iba’t
ibang paraan sa pag-iwas sa
malnutrisyon
3. May mga paraan upang makaiwas sa malnutrisyon.
Kumain ng masustansiyang pagkain dahil ito ay
nagbibigay sa ating katawan ng kinakailangang
nutrisyon upang tayo ay lumaking malusog at
malakas.
