The 12th Five Year Plan aims to achieve several targets in education and employment by 2017. In education, it targets eliminating social and gender gaps in enrolment, increasing secondary and senior secondary GER to 90% and 65% respectively, and reducing secondary drop out rates and gender literacy gaps. In employment, it targets creating 50 million additional non-farm jobs, increasing the skilled workforce to 50 million, and doubling annual training capacity from 4.5 million. The accompanying web app allows viewing targets and graphs on literacy rates, mean years of schooling, GER, education budgets, and sectoral employment over time.
