Somarelang Tikologo (ST)
Somarelang Tikologo (ST) is an organization that promotes environmental protection through various programs. ST works on environmental education, planning, and conservation related to resources like water, energy, and trees. They also have programs around waste management, legislation, and cleanups. ST operates a Green Shop that sells recycled products to promote recycling and provides income opportunities for women in rural areas. The Green Shop helps make ST self-sustaining by offsetting operating expenses.

The designers researched this model and interviewed those experiencing homelessness, like Julia and John, to design SafeBed, a concept for temporary housing that makes use of empty hotel and shelter space to help address the social issue of homelessness.
