There are two bodies the rudimental and the complete; corresponding with the two conditions of
the worm and the butterfly. What we call death, is but the painful metamorphosis. Edgar Allan
Poe was a poet who grew up with theater in his blood and who became known for his style of
literature. First I will inform you of his birth along with his parents, then I will tell you about his
childhood and education, after that I will follow up on his mysterious death.
Edgar Allen Poe was born on January 19, 1809 in a cheap rooming house near the Boston Common.
Meltzer, the author of one of Poe s Biography, states that Eliza [his mother] married a young

Edgar Allan Poe passed away on October 7, 1849 at the age of 40 in Baltimore, Maryland.

death given was congestion of the brain, or inflammation of the brain, catch all medical phrases of
the day.
In his own time and even decades later, no one really questioned the verdict that the culprit was
liquor.
No one seriously questioned that Poe died as a result of complications arising from a drunken

Drunkenness explained all, it was decided; otherwise, if Poe had been found in extreme distress in
a public place, that standard procedure would have been followed, and much more would now be
known.
What was assumed was some sort of physiological or orthostatic collapse.

the State was accepted. Almost everyone living in this system, had as much as 50 years experience

vote for their country, and to express their own views. The people from the East had a choice in
their future and that of their country.
When the press was run by the State, there was no freedom of speech. Everything that was on the

material. Now, after reunification, there is freedom of speech, the people are allowed to express
their opinions without the danger of being arrested or even thrown into jail without any legal help.
When East Germany was a socialist state, there was no concept of privatised enterprises.

In the poem A Blessing, James Wright analyzes the relationship between human beings and nature
through the descriptive explanation of an encounter between his friend and himself and two Indian
horses. He shows that although we are able to relate and interact with the animals we don t have

(23), showing that nature itself is encouraging the merging of the two sides, because the wind
encourages the hand to pet the horses ear. Another simile is used to describe the horse s ear as
delicate as the skin over a girl s wrist (24), again blurring the line between human and nature.
Finally Wright comes to the realization that if he were blessed enough he would be able to step
out of his body and break into blossom, thus becoming a part of nature. But, he realizes that is past
the realm of reality and therefore cannot be done.
Wright examines the relationship of human being and nature using his descriptive language
including such devices as imagery and similes. Wright sees the idea of nature and humans
joining as one as a possible feat and he shows this though his written experience with these
Indian ponies. He initially shows the contrast of the two worlds, but they grow on each other and
end up becoming one. Wright sees the loneliness of the ponies, gains their affection, as the ponies
are very welcoming. He ultimately ends up wanting to join them by being able to break into
blossom (26 27), but he is unable to do so because he reached the maximum threshold of the union

Infernal PvP: I was a Mod promoted to Admin on InfernalPvP for about 9 10 months, Infernal
was a server that averaged around 100 players at any point. I had fun while doing it and wish to
be a part of the Moderator community again. During my time as a moderator on InfernalPvP I
did the average Moderator job including teamspeak help, catching hackers, and much more. I was
very involved in the community and loved playing the game and I wish to be able to do that with
Faithful as well. My involvement included helping on the forums which is a good way to connect
to the community. I also was involved in accepting and denying staff applications, as well as the
obvious, catching and banning unwanted players. I learned a ton from my experience as a
